Day of Silence and LBGTQ rights (marraige)~well for those who didn't know, this week is Speak Up week across the country, and tomorrow is Day of Silence (students are silent for a day to show the oppression lbgtq face)! the victories in iowa and vermont are amazing, and i hope this is just one more step to make people realize that lbgtq are the same as heterosexuals and deserve ALL the same rights, including the right to be married. on monday of this week an extremely ignorant person in my school actually put a sign on a water fountain that said "heterosexuals only" i live in st. louis, MO, and you would think that 50 years after the civil rights movement, people would be more intelligent and accepting.... and for all the religious people who say being homosexual is biblically wrong, the Old Testament also says that we should not shave, women are property of men, and that we should stone rebellious teenagers..... just think about it...... learn the facts before you judge anyone
